There’s more drama for the cast of Hulu’s “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” or “SLOMW.” According to a new report, production will not resume filming for the remainder of season 5. Instead, the cast will jump straight into filming season 6. The news about the upcoming season of the show comes after Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, were involved in alleged domestic disputes.

A source told PEOPLE that the production on season 5 will not resume as planned.

“Right now, they’re just filming confessionals for season 5,” the source said. “They’ve decided they’re not going to film the rest of season 5, but apparently they’re still going to film season 6.”

The decision comes after production on the series was halted due to Paul and Mortensen’s reported domestic disputes. Per The Blast, cast members allegedly refused to film with the mother of three amid the police investigations.

According to the insider, season 5 of the hit reality TV series will include only the five episodes the group filmed before the cameras went down in March 2026.

Based on another report from The Blast, prior to the cameras going down, a shocking video showing Paul appearing to assault her ex-boyfriend was shared online.

The clip shows Paul not only cursing at and striking Mortensen, but it also shows the reality star pulling Mortensen’s hair and later throwing two metal chairs at him in front of her minor daughter.

In the gut-wrenching clip, Mortensen could be heard screaming out in the video, “This is called physical abuse. This is all you do. It’s the only thing you know how to do is hurt me. You think this is OK? It’s not OK. Holy sh-t.”

Adding to the drama, prior to the video’s release, ABC and Disney were scheduled to release season 22 of “The Bachelorette,” which featured Paul as the leading lady.

The video thwarted those plans, though, prompting the TV networks to release a statement, saying, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette, [starring Paul], at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”

While it’s still unclear when season 5 of “The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives” will return to Hulu, Jessi Draper spoke exclusively with The Blast about the upcoming batch of episodes and teased what’s to come.

“You guys see that part of us online on the show, but we actually have so many light-hearted and fun, funny moments as friends, and I wish you saw more of that,” Draper, who was embroiled in drama the last two seasons, said.

When asked if there was anything she wanted to clear up about her group of chaotic friends, Draper shot back, “That we’re all drama.”

At another point in the interview, Draper touched on her ongoing messy divorce from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jordan Ngatikaura.

“I don’t think it’s ever going well, but I do think that the first year is the hardest,” she said. “I’m just hoping to get through like the filing of it, the finalization, all the ups and downs, but I still love and respect my ex.”

Continuing, Draper said she hoped they could one day move forward amicably for their children’s sake.

“It’s been about four years of my life,” she said before expressing her gratitude for the series. “Every time I left, it wasn’t with gratitude,” she said. “But this time it is. It just feels like a chapter that’s closing in my life. My cup is full, and it just feels like it’s time. So I’m excited.”
