Bynes, who turns 40 in April, has been on an incredible weight loss journey after sharing that she dropped some 30 lbs with the help of Ozempic.

Back in December, she shared a photo of herself on her Instagram stories and wrote, "I usually don't like paparazzi pictures bc I was 180 lbs, but now I've lost 28lbs on Ozempic! I'm down to 152lbs. I know I still look big, but this photo is really inspiring to me! [sic]."

Before then, she noted in a June post that she'd turned to the popular weight-loss drug to help her attain her goal weight of 130lbs.

"I'm going on Ozempic. So excited," she noted. "I'm 173 now, so I hope to get down to like 130, which would be awesome, so I look better in paparazzi pictures. I will post about my Ozempic journey, of course."

Bynes's weight gain seems to have been a concern for her, as it was seemingly spurred by her mental state.

The former actress explained in a March 2024 post that she put on more than 20 pounds after she went through depression.

"I'm doing a lot better now and have learned to do the opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean," Bynes said at the time.

She added, "I weigh 162 lbs. right now and want to get back to 110 lbs."

Over the years, Bynes has shown just how talented she is, having launched several creative and professional ventures, with a strong focus on fashion, art, and, more recently, music.

Earlier this year, amid backlash for her purple-tinted brows, she announced that she was working on a song and said that she couldn't wait for her fans to take a listen.

"What's up, everybody. I wanted to make a quick post just to let you know I'm going back into the studio tomorrow to work on my song, 'girlfriend,'" she told her over 600k followers.

"I'm so excited to see how it turns out, and I really can't wait for you all to hear it as well," she added. "Hope everyone's having a blessed night. Rock on."

Meanwhile, the former child star seems to have made headway in her relationship life since she started dating 40-year-old Zachary Khan in September 2025. She gushed about him in a recent Instagram video, writing, "love u zachary."

According to the Daily Mail, sources with inside knowledge revealed that Khan has brought some sense of "stability" to Bynes' life following her split from her ex, Paul Michael.

The actress was subjected to a nine-year conservatorship imposed on her by her parents in 2013 following a series of erratic behavior, legal issues, and substance abuse.

Even after the conservatorship was terminated in 2022, she still struggled with her mental health.

She was then placed on psychiatric hold after she was found "roaming the streets naked and alone."

She eventually completed a three-week stay in a mental health facility, with sources telling the news outlet that her split from Michael triggered it, as he was "not a healthy and safe person for her to be around."

Ever since her stay at a mental health facility, Bynes has been successfully working on getting her life together.
