According to a previous report from The Blast, Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and her dancer were targeted in Atlanta in the summer of 2025.

Reports stated that Evans allegedly broke into Grant’s rental vehicle while they were out to eat at Krog Street Market.

Grant told police officers that he worked for a high-profile celebrity, and the items allegedly stolen from his car included unreleased music.

“He advised he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her, and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were stolen also. The hard drives contained watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set lists,” the report said.

Other items reportedly stolen from the rental vehicle included high-ticket items such as AirPods Max, luxury sunglasses, and laptops.

Evans appeared in court on May 12, 2026, and pleaded guilty to the charges against him. According to 11 Alive, he faced up to six years in prison; however, he was sentenced to two years as part of the plea deal.

Evans will receive credit for time served following his September 2025 arrest. Despite that, Evans was hemmed up in court due to a prior car break-in case, making the length of his sentence unclear.

Evans’ defense attorney said the Atlanta local was eager to take responsibility for the sake of his child.

“He is looking forward to putting this… behind him and hoping for a future where he can make money legitimately, be part of society just like the rest of us,” the lawyer said.

Despite the reported theft, Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour was still a major success. After a little over 30 shows, the singer pulled in over $407 million after selling 1.6 million tickets.

The numbers made the show the highest-grossing country tour of all time, according to The Blast.

Another report from The Blast states that Beyoncé’s latest tour helped push the singer’s fortune over the 10-figure mark, making her the seventh musician to reach billionaire status.

The official report not only cited the tour as helpful, but also mentioned the singer’s “Beyoncé Bowl” Netflix special, which pulled in over 27 million viewers and earned the singer an Emmy Award.

Most recently, Beyoncé made waves after making her first appearance at the Met Gala since 2016. The singer appeared on the red carpet in a custom Olivier Rousteing gown and later changed into a black ensemble featuring thousands of Swarovski crystals that resembled the night sky.

Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, recalled getting emotional about the event, admitting that she “shed a few tears.”

Tina went on to say how much the moment meant to her because her granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter, made her first Met appearance alongside her mother.

“It was kind of reminiscent, because Beyoncé started, you know, her first red carpet at 15, and Blue is 14. And so just seeing her out there looking confident and beautiful, it just brought tears to my eyes,” she said.

Not everyone was as worked up about Beyoncé’s presence at the esteemed event. Per The Blast, actor Paul Anthony Kelly faced intense backlash after he seemed to dismiss the singer’s work when asked for his favorite song by her.

“I don’t know,” he said flatly. “I’m a metal head.”

Users, however, slammed the actor, accusing him of trying to humble the 35x Grammy winner.

“When people say they’ve never heard a Beyoncé or Michael Jackson song, I immediately know they either grew up in a cult or they’re a January 6th groupie. Cause how do you not know the hook or chorus of ONE Beyoncé song?” someone wrote on X.
