Brooks Nader has spent time sharpening her skills for her new project.
The model has shared that her upcoming appearance on the “Baywatch” reboot will show her in a different light. Baywatch announced its return to screens for the next 2026-27 season last year, after signing a deal with a new writer and showrunner.
Brooks Nader has pushed herself beyond her comfort zone in the industry as she has worked to make a name for herself. Fame did not lay at her fingertips; she gained visibility in the industry after landing a gig as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star.
Brooks Nader Has Stepped Up Her Swimming Game

Nader shares that she has put in the work preparing for her role on the “Baywatch” reboot, which is officially in the works. As part of the job, the model needed someone to give her swimming lessons, and so she turned to the hottest trainer ever. Despite being a model for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue after winning the 2019 Swim Search, Nader did not grow up swimming.
According to her, she has never had any lessons, but now Nader is dedicated to making up for it. The model chatted with TMZ on Wednesday while on set, clad in the signature red swimsuit with other castmates, where she jokingly told the outlet, “I’m an Olympic swimmer now!”
Besides taking lessons to become an expert swimmer, she has also taken up some acting classes. Nader and her pal, Livvy Dunne, joined the reboot of the drama Television series to play lifeguard captain Selene and junior lifeguard Grace, respectively.
The Show Announced Its Return To Screens Last Year
Last September, Fox announced that the hit TV show’s reboot season was set to premiere this year. They told fans that the show had landed a 12-episode straight-to-series order from the broadcast network for a premiere during the 2026-27 season.
The idea for the sequel series of the lifeguard action drama came as popular creator Matt Nix took over. The series had been in development, but on the back burner at Fox since the winter of 2024. According to Deadline, things kicked off with full force in early 2025 after Nix was brought in as a new writer.
Nix has a direct deal with Fox Entertainment, and on this premise, his script for the show was accepted. He was then made executive producer and showrunner after getting the greenlight from the network on his ideas. Ultimately, the reboot is executive produced by Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Dante Di Loreto, Doug Schwartz, and Nix.
The Network Was Reportedly Exploring Filming Locations
Originally, “Baywatch” was set and filmed on the beaches of Los Angeles County. They used these L.A. sites for the first nine seasons of the drama series before shifting base to Hawaii for the last two seasons. Filming took extra months because the franchise and Fox were discussing and exploring other locations.
There were whispers that producers are considering going back to the shores of L.A. for the reboot or using a totally different scenery in Australia. To keep the show in California, landing a tax credit seems vital, but irrespective of where the scenes are shot, the setting would remain Southern California.
According to the official description, “Baywatch” will feature adrenaline-fueled rescues, complicated chemistry, tangled relationships, and beachside heroics just like in the original series. The contemporary trappings, challenges, tensions, and a renewed mission to protect Southern California’s shoreline thrill will not be wiped out, even though the screens will be filled with an entirely new cast.
The Model Leveled Up From Doing Hand Jobs
Nader shared details of her rise to success in the industry, revealing a time when she opted for a particular gig because of finances and desperation. The model grew up in Louisiana as a “hyper sheltered little girl” who was oblivious to the real world outside her town.
Because the star had big dreams, she moved to New York City in 2017 to pursue a career in modelling. Reality Tea shares that Nader was faced with financial constraint at some point, so she rushed to her agency and requested that they find a job for her. The star told her agency, “I’m desperate; I need a job. I’m talking hand modeling,” the model recalled, adding, “Hand jobs, but not those kind.”
Eventually, she got a gig for BareMinerals in New Jersey, and this job helped her stay in New York despite the early hours. Her struggle continued as she was discouraged from applying to the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit open casting call. Because of her commitment and strong will, the “Love Thy Nader” star did not lose hope and worked hard to win that year’s Swim Search. For the next three years, Nader was featured in the magazine, and ultimately, in 2023, she succeeded in becoming the cover girl.
Brooks Nader Recently Had A Health Scare

The TV personality was on her way for a birthday trip last February, when she suffered a case of food poisoning incident mid-air. The medical emergency called for paramedics to be waiting for her on the tarmac before the private jet landed.
The Blast shared that her sister, Sarah Jane Nader, uploaded photos of the model lying on the plane’s floor and wrapped in a blanket while surrounded by her loved ones who tried to help. “Very touch and go. Food poisoning: 1. Brooksie: 0,” Sarah Jane wrote across the uploaded photo. Immediately the plane touched base, paramedics rushed to her aid to provide necessary medical attention.
Nader later assured her fans that she was back to recovering good health and even made light of the ordeal. The media personality updated her Instagram stories with snaps from inside the plane on which she wrote, “If you don’t get picked up in an ambulance when u land, are u even having fun???” on one of the slides.
