Medley took to her SiriusXM radio show "Reality Checked" in March 2026 to give a brief update on "The Golden Life," which she was announced to be a part of on February 17. She said in the clip, "Speaking of Florida, we had one of our big production meetings yesterday. It was the first one for this new show."

The "RHONY" alum went on to express her excitement for filming "The Golden Life." According to her, "And I have to say, I haven't really thought about it because I've been so sick and busy and running and for the first time I was like, 'My God, this is gonna be great."

Medley continued, stating that the cast now has the production schedule for the show, noting that it made her say to herself, "Wow, this is real." She then said, "And some of the stuff they have planned and some of the people they're having come on, I think it's gonna be just- like I'm excited for the first time. Especially when you see all the names on it."

Rumors began circulating in late 2025 that some of the former "Real Housewives of New York City" stars were reuniting for a new series. Then, in January 2026, Page Six reported that five of the ladies, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, Sonja Morgan, and Jill Zarin, had a show in the works for E!. Finally, on February 3, the network confirmed the news by announcing "The Golden Life."

However, Zarin later made comments many considered inappropriate about Bad Bunny and his Super Bowl halftime performance, leading to her dismissal and confirming that Medley would be featured on the show. Still, insiders told TMZ that Medley was always supposed to be included in the cast, but the network planned to reveal her involvement closer to the start of production.

Longtime "Real Housewives of New York City" viewers have been clamoring to see their favorites on screen again. Because of this, there have been a ton of reactions online about "The Golden Life" and Medley's update on production. One person expressed excitement on TikTok, saying, "And no Jill."

Someone else wrote, "Can’t wait." An X user said, "She's gonna make it nice! I'm so happy about this!!" Another person wrote, "Hmm, I hope it’s gonna be good, I'll be positive. But I feel like all the drama from last week took the shine off it a bit." Lastly, a different X user stated, "I just feel like this show is not going to do what E thinks it’s going to do. Not hating, just zero interest in watching them self-produce and most of them not show their real selves/beliefs."

The news broke on February 25 that "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star Mary Cosby had suffered a tragic loss as her son, Robert Cosby Jr., had passed away two days prior. Following the heartbreaking news, many of her Bravo co-stars offered kind words. One was Medley, who took to "Reality Checked" to provide her thoughts.

Her co-host, Kiki Monique, announced the news before Medley reacted, saying, "I don’t even know how to speak on someone that has a person, especially a child, that is possessed, because that’s the word I’m gonna use, with a drug addiction. That’s a mistress that you can’t fight with, right? And I think, you know, there’s no solution, but she stood strong, you know, when he was in jail, she said, 'I'm happy he’s there.'"

Monique then pointed out for context that Cosby was happy about her son being in jail in 2025 because it meant that he wouldn't be exposed to substances.

It's not often that Bravo announces new "Housewives" cities, as the network has its staples. However, "The Real Housewives of Rhode Island" is set to premiere on April 2. Medley met the cast of the upcoming show while filming "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th."

Per US Weekly, she said of the ladies, "Well, I have to say, the trailer dropped for 'The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.' I want to preface it by saying I had the pleasure of meeting some of them."

She continued, "I got to have the pleasure of meeting them and I have to say, I was thinking at the time, 'My God, if these girls at Bluestone Manor  — where you must exercise some decorum — are acting like this and they don’t even know me and they’re in my house, I can only imagine what the show’s gonna be like.'"

Medley added, "At one point, one — I won’t say which one — was screaming, ‘I don’t f-ing get, f-ing get the f-k I’m like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa.'" Notably, the finale for "Roaring 20th" was filmed at her Blue Stone Manor in January 2026.
