Gigi Hadid may have walked the carpet by herself, but Bradley Cooper was clearly on her mind. 

While speaking during Vogue’s livestream with Ashley Graham and Cara Delevingne, the model opened up about how she stays present in high-pressure moments like the Met Gala.

Explaining her mindset, she said, “I try to bring my mind to a happy place. What we do in our job is go to a happy place, think of happy thoughts and the smile comes through the eyes and it makes you come to life.”

For Gigi, that “happy place” begins with her daughter, Khai, before shifting to someone else very special. 

“When I think about Khai, maybe I’m giving joy. And then I’ll serve something else to Bradley for the camera,” she said.

Her comment didn’t go unnoticed, with Delevingne quickly adding, “Bradley, you’re a lucky man.”

Gigi And Cooper Share Surprise Reunion Inside Event

Although Bradley Cooper skipped the red carpet, he didn’t stay away for long. The actor made a surprise appearance inside the event, adding an unexpected twist to Gigi Hadid’s evening.

Photos from inside showed Cooper dressed in a classic black suit paired with a white-collared shirt, fitting seamlessly into the glamorous setting. 

His arrival meant that while the couple avoided a joint red carpet moment, but they still ended up attending the Met Gala together.

The moment was especially notable because, despite being together for nearly three years, the pair have yet to officially debut as a couple on a red carpet. 

This event, however, marked the first time they were both present at the Met Gala as a couple, even if they kept things low-key.

Gigi Hadid And Bradley Cooper’s Relationship Has Grown Quietly Stronger

Gigi and Cooper’s relationship has largely unfolded away from intense public scrutiny. 

Earlier in their relationship, a source shared that things were “going really well” and described their connection as “getting more and more serious” after spending time together in Philadelphia.

The insider also told PEOPLE, “They were quietly dating for much longer before it went public and were very hush-hush, trying to see if things would work between them. They had several months together privately and things have been going really well.”

Since then, the lovebirds have been spotted on various outings, from casual meetups to more high-profile appearances. 

In February, they were seen holding hands during a rare public display of affection in New York City.

Cooper Takes Major Step Toward Marriage With Gigi 

A few months ago, reports revealed that Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid were taking a deeply personal and traditional approach to their future together, with insiders revealing that the Hollywood star had already made his intentions clear behind the scenes. 

According to The Blast, the “Maestro” actor personally approached Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid to ask for her blessing.

“Bradley asked Yolanda for Gigi’s hand in marriage… He wants her to know how serious he is about Gigi and how he plans to build a solid family with her in New York,” one source shared.

Cooper also reportedly involved his mother, Gloria Campano, with the insider noting, “They are very close, and he loops her in on everything.” 

On Gigi’s side, the source shared that the model was equally prepared, having already spoken to both her parents about marriage. 

“Her mom, Yolanda, is on board… but Gigi telling her father she wants to marry Bradley is a big step,” the insider added.

Zayn Malik Reveals He Was Never In Love With Gigi Hadid

Gigi’s love life has made headlines many times. In February, Zayn Malik opened up candidly about his past relationship with the 31-year-old, admitting he was never truly “in love” with her despite their years together. 

As The Blast reported, the singer spoke on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, explaining that while he had deep affection for Hadid, his understanding of love evolved over time. 

“I don’t think I was in love with her at that point,” he said, adding that if he had been, “I would have been a better version of myself.”  

Malik reflected that what he once believed was love may have been something else, saying, “I don’t feel like it was love,” as he reassessed the relationship in hindsight.   

However, he made it clear his respect for Hadid remained strong, especially as they co-parent their daughter. “I will always love G… and I have the utmost respect for her,” he said.
