Actress Halle Berry revealed a decision she had made and sticks to, on the topic of sex with her partner, Van Hunt.

Halle Berry spills the tea on her personal rules behind closed doors.
The actress revealed a decision she had made and sticks to, on the topic of sex with her partner, Van Hunt. The pair recently got engaged after dating for half a decade, and she confirmed that they are now ready to take the next step in their relationship.
Halle Berry has been in other relationships, which have been previously documented in the media. She has been married and divorced three times from 1993 to 2016. With her experience, she is not looking to rush into sealing the deal with her current partner.
Halle Berry Opens Up About Her Single Rule Of Intimacy

Berry, who recently got engaged, shared details about what she would never budge for. She disclosed that when it comes to being wrapped up between the sheets with her partner, she would be completely honest about her pleasure.
The actress spelled it out while appearing on a recent episode of the "Sex With Emily" podcast, stating that she refuses to pretend she has an orgasm to please her partner.
When it comes to her sex life with her fiancé, Hunt, her decision is not to put on a performance or fake anything for his pleasure. This seems to be a decision stemming from past experiences, as the Oscar-winning actress admittedly said, "and now I don't do that anymore."
"We had to get there so that he felt good about bringing us to orgasm," she noted. "We had to say that we did it so that he would feel good about himself. Because what is that doing? That's putting his needs before our own," she said.
Page Six reported that Berry went on, explaining that sex is meant to be mutually enjoyable for both partners. If there is pretence, one person is always left feeling unsatisfied, while the other remains oblivious. In her words:
"We both deserve to have this be a mutually enjoyable experience, so we both can roll over and go to sleep because we feel good — not one snoring and the other one looking at the ceiling, going, 'What the hell?'"
The Actress Confirmed Her Engagement Amid Clarifying Rumors
Earlier this month, Berry confirmed that she was engaged to Hunt on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon," after their long-term romance spanning over 5 years. While showing off her ring, she addressed whispers that she had initially rejected the songwriter's proposal.
"There's some confusion that he asked me to marry him, and I said no, but that's not the case," she explained. "I did not say no, we just don't have a date, but of course I said yes, I will marry him!"
She also noted that they do not feel the need to rush into marriage as a way to validate their love, stressing that she strongly feels that, out of all the men she has been married to, Hunt is the person she should have married.
In June last year, Hunt revealed that he had proposed to Berry, but her answer was "on hold" at the time. Berry admitted to feeling hesitant about getting married again, given her three previous failed attempts.
Three Times Was Not A Charm For The 'Catwoman' Actress
Berry has been in a good number of relationships leading up to her current partner. All her relationships also received their fair share of media coverage, leading her to take a decade-long break from interviews and keep a low profile.
Her first husband was retired MLB player David Justice. They got married in 1993 and got divorced in 1997, four years later. In 2001, she decided to give love a second chance, tying the knot with Eric Benét. The union was short-lived, as they called it quits two years later.
Berry took a long break from marriage but not relationships. She dated Gabriel Aubry from 2006 to 2010 and welcomed a daughter with him, Nahla Ariela, in 2008.
Finally, in 2013, she married Olivier Martinez for the third time, had a son, Maceo-Robert, that same year, and The Blast reports they divorced two years later.
Berry Stepped Away From The Dating Pool For A While
Berry previously disclosed that, given her three marriages and divorces, she felt she needed time to focus on herself and reflect on her past.
During this four-year window, she shared that she did not engage in intimate acts. "I was solo and celibate for four years. I had to really sit myself down and be alone and grow and reflect and realize my value," she said.
The actress's first husband, Justice, also got candid about the reason he feels their marriage did not last. He said that while he expected a traditional woman who would cook, clean, and be homely, Berry was more career-oriented.
The Blast reported that the mom of two admitted that her experience with failed unions had a positive spin on them. They helped shape her into the woman she is for her current partner, Hunt.
"I had to go through fire and burn to get to the point of appreciating a person like him. I was a moth to a flame. I no longer am that person," she said amid smiles.
Fans' Advice For Halle Berry Before Her Engagement
Hunt and Bery got introduced during the pandemic, and after a series of online conversations, they went on a date months later, which marked the start of a beautiful relationship. Amid sharing in the joys of their engagement, fans urged the 59-year-old not to legalize the relationship unquestioningly.
The Blast previously reported that many fans urged the actress to sign a prenuptial agreement before taking the step into marriage. At the same time, some shrugged off the idea, stating that the lovebirds were both financially stable.
"Just remember the prenuptial this time, Halle," one wrote. "If you do get a prenuptial. (No offense to Van, but it's business). Tired of you having to pay these lazy men spousal support!!!!!!," another commenter added.
