Kyle Richards shocked “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fans in July 2023 when it was confirmed that she and Mauricio Umansky had separated after 27 years of marriage. Since then, there has been no public movement toward divorce, despite the fact that they’ve both been linked to other people. Now, in a new interview, the “RHOBH” star is opening up about the possibility of reconciling with him.

Richards appeared on Dear Media’s “Bosticks” podcast in March 2026. While on, not only did she discuss “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but she also responded to a question from one of the hosts about whether or not she and Umansky could reconcile.

According to the “RHOBH” star, “The million dollar question… I mean, I’m asked that all the time by everybody. And, I mean, we will not always stay in this gray area.”

She continued, “And there has been more talks about that as of recently, I will say.” The host then asked, “Kind of like TBD?” Richards responded, “Well, the longer things go on like this, it seems harder to think about how do you come back from this.”

The ‘RHOBH’ Star Says It’s Difficult To Accept Not Being With Mauricio

Richards continued this line of discussion on the “Bosticks” podcast by discussing the difficulty of accepting that she and Umansky are no longer together. She said, “I think both of us, it’s hard to accept or acknowledge because it is such a big part of our identities being married so long.”

Richards went on to say that she and her estranged husband have “kept it so normal” in regard to how they function as a family with their daughters. She went on, “I could say ‘for the kids’ but it’s not just for them, I mean, it’s for us too.”

‘RHOBH’ Fans Are Sounding Off On Richards’ Comments

Following the “Bossticks” podcast appearance, many “RHOBH” fans took to the comments section of the episode to react to Richards’ statement about her relationship with Umansky.

One person who related to her said, “Let me also add I married at 16 and have been married for 40 years to my only true love. After 30 years, he moved out at my request. We never divorced; we both did a little dating.”

They continued, “We never even separated our bank accounts and still do family trips with our kids and grandkids. It works for us, and as we age, we may move back together to help each other out. Don’t let anyone define how your family should look or work.”

Another person highlighted her parenting, writing, “Seriously, such a beautiful family! Raised the most well-adjusted kids on reality TV & that is no small thing.” Someone else said, “Kyle, save your marriage. Prayers sent.”

A different fan remarked, “She looked like she was happily married, as far as long-term marriage went. But she fell for a mediocre country singer. Bless her heart.”

Lastly, a different “RHOBH” fan mentioned the show, saying, “If Kyle really cares about her family and trying to protect them and her privacy, she needs to get off the damn show! She’s not even sharing real life anyway. What else does she need to get out of this?”

The Actress And Reality Star Says She’s Single

Much has been said about Richards and Umansky and their respective dating lives following their split. This includes Richards allegedly dating country singer Morgan Wade and Umansky being linked to multiple women.

Recently, in March 2026, Richards gave an update on her dating life to PEOPLE. She said, “All I do is work. I started my production company, House of 18, and I have four TV shows in development [that I’m] producing. So I’m just really excited about that, and I’ve been acting.”

Richards continued, “I just did ‘Lincoln Lawyer.’ I just did another show. So just keeping acting and producing going while I’m doing the ‘Housewives’ and just wearing a lot of hats, but keeping myself busy.”

Still, regarding her romantic future, she said, “I hope to get married again one day. I mean, listen, I’m someone who really enjoys being married. So I won’t be single my whole life.”

The ‘RHOBH’ OG Has Another Acting Role

Richards’ fame came decades before “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as she began acting as a child. Some of her roles include 1978’s “Halloween,” 1980’s “The Watcher in the Woods,” and “Down to Earth,” which aired from 1984 to 1987.

Now, according to AOL, she has been cast as a guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s “911: Nashville.” Before this, she appeared in season four of Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer,” which premiered in 2026.
