It’s still unclear what’s happening with the “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” However, according to a source close to the show, some cast members, namely Margaret Josephs, may be ready to walk.

Josephs bumped heads with some of her “Real Housewives of New Jersey” co-stars, specifically Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin, during the last two seasons. According to the insider, one of those two could be the reason Josephs doesn’t return.

A new report from Reality Blurb states that Bravo has decided to move forward with filming the next season of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” with Giudice, Dolores Catania, and Melissa Gorga. However, there has been no update on Josephs’ potential involvement.

A source told the publication that Josephs has “made it known she doesn’t want to film with people she doesn’t feel wish her family well,” adding that she’s been “very vocal … and it’s not something she’s budging on.”

The insider went on to say that Josephs’ past issues with Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas, are part of what could be keeping her from the show. And while her loss on “RHONJ” could affect the series, Josephs “hasn’t changed her stance” regarding working with her adversaries.

“She’s a dynamic personality who has made a splash on RHONJ since joining the series, and of course, there are many fans who want her back,” the source said. “But she’s not willing to compromise her personal values or be around people she feels wish her family harm, as she said on the last episode of the show.”

The news of Josephs’ reported involvement in the next season of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” comes days after Bravo figurehead Andy Cohen said he was having a meeting with the network about the next season.

Reality Blurb reported that Giudice, Gorga, and Catania were all asked to return despite the previous drama.

“Fans long believed it would either be Teresa or Melissa due to all of the tension and issues that arose during season 14 with them refusing to talk to one another, but Bravo ended up bringing them both back,” a source said. “It absolutely helps that they made up off-camera and are now getting along as a family unit. Bravo stressed during the last season that something needed to change, and the cast could not go on like this.”

Another report from The Blast detailed Gorga and Giudice’s reconciliation after years of estrangement.

“We are in a different place we than we were a couple months ago,” Gorga said at BravoCon 2025. “Let’s just say that… everybody’s working on it. We’re working on it. We’re trying to move forward, and we’ve, you know, hashed a lot of things out privately without all of this. And I think that’s a good thing.”

Before mending fences, Gorga and Giudice fought incessantly during earlier seasons of “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

“We just want to fix it, and we want to get back together. And for the kids, you know, we have little kids that are, you know, teenagers too, that are watching this, and behavior repeats itself. And that’s never what I want to see happen,” Gorga shared.

Giudice also spoke about what led her to reconcile with Gorga during a 2025 podcast appearance.

“Time does heal all wounds. And when time goes by, you forget things,” Giudice said.

She went on to explain that she decided to make up with Gorga after filming “Special Forces” with her daughter, Gia Giudice.

“Gia and I were on Special Forces. We spent a lot of time together before we went on Special Forces, and we talked a lot about a lot of things. So I want to be a good example for my children,” Giudice shared.

“Be a beautiful family,” she added. “If someone doesn’t get along, be the bigger person. Try to make it work. I’ve got to practice what I preach.”
