On the heels of Howie's conversation with SiriusXM's Mick Kern in the previous show, Shawn and Howie talk about the 1993 Stanley Cup Final series between the Los Angeles Kings and Montreal Canadiens and the pivotal role played by an illegal stick penalty to the Kings' Marty McSorley. They also discuss the 2026 NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks and the meeting of a couple of the game's great personalities, Victor Wembanyama and Jalen Brunson. The boys also remember the great receiver and coach, Raymond Berry and former NBA player and coach, Rick Adelman. In between all that, Shawn managed to get a little tribute to Doug Flutie in there.
