Mazar was interviewed by The Times UK in September 2026, and the actress was prompted to recall her time on “Entourage.” When discussing filming the third season of the series, she shared that she had a “complicated” time, with her weight becoming an issue for some people behind the scenes.

According to her, “I’d had my second baby, and they didn’t like that I got fat, even though I got skinny again. It was complicated because I’m outspoken and never held back my discontent. But I always was professional, and I’m grateful I was on it. It was a lot of fun, until it wasn’t.”

For context, “Entourage” premiered in 2004 with Mazar as a recurring cast member. However, she was promoted to series regular for the second season, a role she held until the show’s end in 2011. The actress gave birth to her second child in March 2006, coinciding with the show’s third season.

Mazar continued to recall her time on “Entourage” by discussing how much the set had changed since the show premiered. She called filming that season a “joy fest.”

Regarding the way, according to her recollection, the culture on the show shifted as it went on, she stated, “In the third season, the set was a testosterone-fueled environment. I’m tough, but it got toxic towards the end for me.”

Per Entertainment Weekly, Mazar appeared on PeopleTV’s “Couch Surfing” in 2020, where she opened up not only about the show’s toxic set but also about how she felt about her character, saying she sometimes became “embarrassed.”

According to her, “I was kind of, almost like embarrassed by my dialogue. Because I curse, and I obviously have the ability to be a complete trash mouth, but some of the things I would say would completely make me blush.”

She then lamented, “With TV, you don’t know what they’re going to write. I took a job to make money. I mean, [creator Doug Ellin] wrote a really strong character.” She added about the behind-the-scenes culture: “But that set was very testosterone-driven and misogynistic.”

Later, in 2022, Mazar spoke to Ful Magazine, where the icon was asked about life-changing experiences she’d had as an actress.

She recalled, “Another experience that changed me was ‘Entourage,’ produced by HBO.” Mazar went on to call it a ‘me too movement’ show, noting, “because it was the prototype of everything an actress doesn’t want to do. It was an interesting challenge, trying to stay strong as a woman in such a misogynistic environment; you have to see the series to understand.”

As with many iconic television series from the past, there have been public talks of a reboot for “Entourage,” given that it’s been over a decade since the 2015 film. Notably, one of the show’s stars, Adrian Grenier, responded to Us Weekly‘s questions about the possibility of a new version of the series in March 2026.

He said, “I would love to do the show again, obviously.” The “Devil Wears Prada” star continued, “You know, I’m torn because it’s an iconic show that defined an era. I don’t know how we would do that today, because we’d have to address a lot of things that are current.”

After that, he stated, “But that could… that’s an opportunity as well. I think it can’t be the same thing, because it was so tied to that time. It’s a time and a moment and a vibe that I don’t think you can replicate.”

The actor added, “The characters, I think, are still relevant, and I think the way they would deal with modernity is interesting as well.”

Debi Mazar Remains Active In Hollywood

Mazar is one of the supporting cast members in the upcoming psychological thriller “The Housewife.” The film, which was directed by Ben Shirinian, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2026. An official release date is expected to follow the premiere. Naomi Watts, Tye Sheridan, Luke Evans, and Michael Imperioli star in the film.

Additonally, according to Deadline, she will appear in Netflix’s “The Last Mrs. Parrish” alongside Jennifer Lopez. It’s unclear when the movie will premiere.
