The new series will feature a few familiar faces, including Bobbi Althoff, FishFam YouTuber Madison Bontempo, and social media personalities Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, and Salomé Andrea, according to an official press release.

Rounding out the cast are Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease, and McCall DaPron, the sister of OG cast member Mayci Neeley. The news of the new series comes weeks after PEOPLE reported that the streamer picked up cameras on the West Coast and planned to follow Jen Affleck and a group of other women. While the press release doesn’t say which OG MomTok members will be part of the spin-off, there’s a chance viewers still see familiar faces.

It’s unclear when the new series will premiere on Hulu, but the streamer promises an explosive batch of episodes that will uncover scandals and even bigger secrets.

“A new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,” the show’s description reads. “While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo.”

Continuing, the release read, “Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok.”

While the original “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” became a hit after its September 2024 premiere, the audience isn’t as moved by Hulu’s attempt to expand the franchise.

Social media users blasted the new series on Reddit, with many questioning the cast’s place on a show about religion. “Avery is not Mormon. Is Aspyn Mormon??? I am so lost. I don’t even think Madison is,” someone wrote.

“Ah, the show we never asked for,” someone else wrote, while a third posted, “This won’t work. It’s just a mismatch of random women that want to be famous that don’t authentically know each other at all.”

The Orange County cast was revealed just days after Hulu confirmed that cameras were going back up in Salt Lake City, according to The Blast.

For those unfamiliar, production was halted in March 2026 after reports of an alleged domestic dispute between the show’s leading lady, Taylor Frankie Paul, and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, were shared online.

Later, more details from their 2023 domestic dispute, which resulted in Paul’s arrest and criminal charges, surfaced, including a horrifying video showing Paul hitting, choking, and throwing metal chairs at Mortensen.

After authorities revealed that Paul wouldn’t face any additional punishment for the reported 2026 incident, the cast received the green light to resume filming. However, Paul won’t be in front of the cameras—at least for now.

It’s unclear when she’ll return to the group, but a source said that the reality star was spending the time focusing on herself and her children.

Before production resumed, Paul’s castmate, Jessi Draper, shared her thoughts on the sad situation during an appearance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, according to PEOPLE.

During her conversation, Draper expressed love for Paul, defending her against criticism while highlighting the efforts she’s made to better herself.

“I don’t like to judge someone in their darkest moment,” Draper said. “I don’t like to judge the person, I’ll judge the mistake and Taylor really has made a lot of changes, and that’s what so hard for me is like, this is my real friend and she does have a really good heart and I love her so much.”
