Ramona Singer is currently filming for E!’s “The Golden Life,” an offshoot of The Real Housewives of New York City.” Now, several weeks into filming, a new report says she’s clashing with the cast due to the same behaviors from her “RHONY” days.

Filming for “The Golden Life” began in March 2026. For the most part, reports say things have gone well between the ladies. However, an insider has now spoken to Page Six, revealing that there was some tension among the cast as cameras rolled at the Gay Polo League in Wellington.

Per the report, the event took place on April 25, and the ‘Golden Life” cast was asked to sing the national anthem. Unfortunately, it seems Singer wanted to steal the show and bulldozed over the other four ladies, making it awkward even for the fans in attendance.

What Insiders Had To Say

The insider further revealed, “She wouldn’t let anyone have the mic! Luann wanted to sing, and she literally pushed her away. It was so offensive.”

Notably, de Lesseps is a cabaret singer who has toured major cities worldwide, performing for adoring crowds, so it would make sense to allow her to sing.

The source also said, “Luann should’ve been the main person. She’s the cabaret singer.” That’s not all. The insider offered further insight into Singer and her behavior toward the “Golden Life” cast. They said, “She’s like the queen of etiquette until the mask comes off.”

Following the report about Singer’s “pushy” attitude toward the “The Golden Life” cast, fans are reacting, with many noting this is what they want from the “RHONY” alum. Still, many mentioned her past offensive remarks.

One person said on X, “Disgusting human being but so entertaining.” Another “RHONY” fan wrote, “Good give us a good season!!!” before someone else said, “We’re so back omg.” A different social media user then said, “That means it’s going to be an entertaining season!”

After that, someone else brought up the allegations of racism against Singer. They said, “Throwing around the N word still?”

Lastly, another person replied, “Was hoping someone would ask if she’s being racist/saying derogatory things.”

According to Deadline, E! announced on February 3 that “The Golden Life” had been greenlit for a full season. The network said in a press release, “Though skies are bright in Florida, unresolved drama looms as they reconnect after years of highs and lows.”

Initially, in addition to Singer, de Lesseps, Morgan, and Bensimone, Jill Zarin was set to appear. However, she was fired before filming began for her controversial remarks about Bad Bunny and his Super Bowl halftime performance, during which she criticized the lack of white people on stage and insulted Lady Gaga for her appearance.

Following the backlash, Variety reported that Zarin had been fired. The production company behind “The Golden Life,” Blink49 Studios, released a statement. They said, “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

Days later, it was announced that Medley would be joining the show along with her fellow “RHONY” alums.

Singer’s last “Real Housewives of New York City” appearance was in 2021, at the conclusion of the low-rated 13th season. After that, Bravo announced plans not only to reboot the show but also to create “RHONY: Legacy,” featuring Singer and other former stars.

However, she told Page Six the following November that she had no intention of being on the show, stating she was done with “Housewives.” The Bravo alum told the outlet, “I do not want to do the show any longer. It’s not for me at this time.”

Then, in 2023, according to Vanity Fair, Singer was accused of racism, with the claim being that, among other indiscretions, she had used the N-word while speaking to a crew member. After that, she was removed from the BravoCon 2023 lineup.
