During Thursday’s episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” the 39-year-old reality star shared the emotional moment with longtime castmate Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola after discovering her pregnancy test came back positive. “There’s no way that it just happened naturally. There’s no sperm donor now,” a visibly shocked Pivarnick said.

The Staten Island native later reflected on the surprise pregnancy during a confessional. “I did not think I was able to get pregnant, but, wow, I’m … pregnant,” she admitted. “This could be a great thing. This could be my fairy tale, my path, my baby.”

The pregnancy marks a major milestone for Pivarnick, who has openly discussed her fertility journey throughout Season 9 of the MTV reality series.

Referring to him as “John Doe-Nor,” a playful nod to the word “donor,” Angelina shared the news over the phone. “So, I have some news for you,” she told him. “I am officially, definitely pregnant. We’re having a baby!”

The episode did not clarify whether the man is someone Pivarnick is romantically involved with or simply someone who agreed to help her conceive. In previous episodes, the reality star revealed she had been exploring the possibility of using a sperm donor to start a family.

At the time, she also joked to castmates that she had been sleeping with “multiple” men and had her “pickings.” “I have needs, and they have needs,” Angelina said. “If it happened, that would be great. I would definitely welcome a pregnancy in my life right now.”

However, after the episode aired, Pivarnick clarified that viewers may have misunderstood her remarks. “Following last night’s episode, I want to address a moment that has clearly been misunderstood,” she wrote in a statement.

“The comments I made were intended in jest and do not reflect my real life. There are no ‘multiple men,’ and that narrative is simply not accurate,” she added. “Anyone who truly knows me understands the kind of person I am and the values I stand by, especially when it comes to my relationships.”

Pivarnick’s pregnancy reveal comes a little more than a year after her engagement to Vinny Tortorella officially came to an end following a highly publicized and drama-filled breakup.

The “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star and Tortorella first began dating in early 2022 before getting engaged that November, notably just one day after Pivarnick celebrated the end of her marriage to ex-husband Chris Larangeira with a “divorce party.”

However, their romance quickly turned rocky.

In 2023, reports surfaced claiming Pivarnick had called police following an alleged altercation involving Tortorella at her home, adding another layer of tension to the already turbulent relationship. Their split later spiraled into public cheating accusations from both sides.

After viewers spotted Tortorella on the dating app Hinge, he defended himself on Instagram, insisting he only joined after ending the relationship. “I made a Hinge [account] two weeks after breaking off my relationship after I found out I got cheated on again,” he wrote at the time. “I broke the relationship off and wanted to find a new woman. I deserve that chance after getting screwed over multiple times.”

Tortorella also denied allegations that he had been unfaithful to Pivarnick, challenging her to provide evidence.
