Hathaway confessed that her very inquisitive nature can be frustrating for filmmakers and producers sometimes.
She added that she usually stays ahead of the curve by explaining to directors who have not had any contact with her before that she is quite the investigator. In her words:
“Like everything, even lines that I absolutely love, I just ask every single question. I hold everything up to the light. I poke holes in everything. And I think it I know for a fact it’s freaked some of them out.”
Hathaway continued on The A24 Podcast on Tuesday that her attitude is usually for the best because she wants to execute the vision of the producer and director to a tee by knowing every single detail.

“A filmmaker once told me this: Beauty can contain within its ugliness as long as it contains truth. So for me, beauty always falls along those lines,” the actress declared.
Aside from her unusual definition of beauty, Hathaway also praised her personal trainer for putting in the work via private lessons, including ballet, HIIT, Pilates, and yoga.
