Apple Martin may have just fueled fresh romance speculation after sharing a cozy new photo with a mystery man on social media. 

The daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has largely kept her personal life private over the years, but fans quickly began dissecting the intimate snap posted to her Instagram Stories over the weekend. 

The new buzz arrives at a major turning point for the 22-year-old, who is stepping confidently into both the fashion world and her post-college life.

Apple Martin got followers talking after posting a candid-looking photo featuring an unidentified dark-haired man.

In the snapshot shared to her Instagram Stories, the recent college graduate leaned her head back while the mystery companion wrapped an arm around her outside what appeared to be a pub. 

According to the Daily Mail, the relaxed photo immediately sent fans into detective mode online, especially because Apple offered no explanation alongside the image. She neither tagged the man nor included a caption, leaving social media users scrambling to figure out whether the pair are officially dating.

The timing only intensified the speculation because the model has recently appeared to interact online with former Vanderbilt University classmate Andrew Smith.

Just days earlier, another handsome dark-haired man was also spotted walking closely behind Apple and her famous mother, Paltrow, during Vanderbilt commencement festivities. 

It remains unclear whether that man and the mystery figure in her Instagram photo are the same person.

Apple’s Personal Life Is Drawing More Public Attention

Although Apple Martin has spent much of her life in the spotlight thanks to her famous parents, she has rarely spoken publicly about romance. Still, that hasn’t stopped curiosity surrounding her dating life from growing over the years.

Back in late 2024, Apple attended the glamorous Le Bal des Débutantes event in Paris alongside Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck, who served as her “cavalier” during the prestigious evening.

Her mother also previously revealed that Apple once had a crush on actor Jacob Elordi. However, the “Frankenstein” star has since been romantically linked to Kendall Jenner.

In August 2025, Apple was photographed spending time on a beach with another unidentified man, though reports later suggested the pair were simply friends.

Now, with her latest social media post creating fresh buzz, many fans believe Apple may finally be stepping into a more public romance chapter.

Earlier this month, she became the face of fashion brand Chloé’s latest summer campaign, a dreamy fashion project inspired by what the brand described as “barefoot reveries suspended in an endless summer afternoon.”

Creative director Chemena Kamali praised Apple while discussing the campaign with WWD. “This year, Chloé à la Plage is an ode to a surreal summer fantasy,” Kamali said, adding, “It’s about that dreamlike state and the poetry of summer. Apple, with her radiance and timeless beauty, draws us into this feeling in the most natural way.”

Photographed by David Sims, the campaign featured Apple posing on an imagined shoreline, surrounded by oversized seashells inspired by the imagery of the Birth of Venus. 

The Chloé collaboration follows previous fashion campaigns she has completed for brands including Self-Portrait and GapStudio.

Apple Martin has openly credited her mother for helping shape her growing interest in fashion. During an interview with Vogue in September 2025, the young star explained that Gwyneth Paltrow’s fearless approach to style left a major impression on her.

“She’s such a bad-ss when it comes to fashion and has just done what she wants and doesn’t really care. I feel like I’m finally getting to the place where I don’t really care what people think. She influenced me,” Apple said.

During the same chat, Paltrow also admitted she had actually been saving clothing for a future daughter long before Apple was born.

“I’ve always saved everything in hopes that I had a daughter one day who would want to go in there,” the “Marty Supreme” actress explained.

She added that each item in her wardrobe carried emotional significance. “I don’t just see a top, I’ll see a moment in my life and all the circumstances surrounding it,” Paltrow said.

The Goop founder revealed that the pair often spend time trying on old gowns and revisiting memorable moments from her Hollywood career.

“Sometimes we just play dress up and she’ll put on my Oscar dresses and stuff like that. We have fun down there,” Paltrow shared.

Now that Apple has developed her own distinct style, Paltrow says she enjoys watching her daughter confidently embrace individuality.

“I’ve just watched her style develop and evolve, she’s got a very strong sense of personal style,” she said. The actress also made it clear that supporting Apple’s authenticity matters most to her.

In her words, “She knows how much I love her for exactly who she is. The best advice would just be to unabashedly be herself.”
