Maraget Josephs is opening up about her future on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” In a new video, the Bravo reality star revealed she would no longer be part of the iconic series after seven seasons.

The news of Margaret Josephs’ “RHONJ” departure comes days after a source claimed Bravo was moving forward with the next season with Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania.

“Hi guys, it’s The Marge, I’m dialing in. I have to tell you something that might come as a little surprise to you, but not for me,” Josephs, 58, said in a recent Instagram video. “I’ve been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from The [Real] Housewives of New Jersey.”

Josephs, who joined the series during season 8 in 2017, said she’s had “talks” with Bravo since December 2025 and realized her time to move on had arrived.

“I think the timing is right. A lot of things have changed in my life. I’ve been blessed to work on a different project. I’m on the set right now,” she said. “I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break and move on.”

In her video, Josephs gave a special shout-out to the other cast members of “RHONJ,” saying she loved them all despite their differences.

The fashion designer then turned her attention to Bravo and NBC Universal, thanking them for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Elsewhere, Josephs teased that she’d return to reality TV sooner than people might expect. “This will not be the last you guys see of me on television. That’s not a threat, it’s a promise, and I’m excited for all the new opportunities, and I’m grateful for all of you for supporting me for all these years,” she said.

“You will see me very, very soon back on your TV screens. Love you,” she finished.

Margaret Josephs Was Reportedly Unwilling To Move On With Giudice

Joseph’s sudden departure follows a source close to “RHONJ” claiming she was unwilling to work with Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas.

“She’s a dynamic personality who has made a splash on RHONJ since joining the series, and of course, there are many fans who want her back,” the source said. “But she’s not willing to compromise her personal values or be around people she feels wish her family harm, as she said on the last episode of the show.”

The source also added that the network was planning to begin production on the next season of “RHONJ” with Giudice and Gorga at the center despite their years-long feud.

“Fans long believed it would either be Teresa or Melissa due to all of the tension and issues that arose during season 14 with them refusing to talk to one another, but Bravo ended up bringing them both back,” a source said.

Giudice and Gorga reconciled in November 2025, something the insider claimed made casting a bit easier. “It absolutely helps that they made up off-camera and are now getting along as a family unit,” they shared. “Bravo stressed during the last season that something needed to change, and the cast could not go on like this.”

Bravo enthusiasts have been reacting to Joseph’s “RHONJ” exit, sharing their unfiltered thoughts on her statement.

“Thank God! Jesus is real! The evil has been defeated and fired,” someone wrote, while another said, “Good. She was a main reason [along] with Jennifer Aydin for the downfall.”

“Marge, you’re one of the good ones,” Gorga wrote. “Your one-liners were my favorite part of the show. I completely understand this decision. Your next chapter will be a fantastic one, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you.”

Jennifer Fessler also commented, “Thank you for taking me along on your ride, my dear friend. Being a ‘friend of’ the Marge was an honor and a privilege.”
