Singer K. Michelle has one again clapped back at "RHOP" star Robyn Dixon over her comments about her casting on "RHOA.' The K. Michelle Slams Robyn Dixon: ‘You Can’t Keep a Job’ first appeared on The Blast
Platinum-selling singer K. Michelle joined “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for its 17th season, which premiered to high ratings on Bravo in April 2026. Now, following the premiere, she’s once again slammed former “Real Housewives of Potomac” starRobyn Dixon, who had previously questioned why Michelle had joined RHOA.
K. Michelle Had More Words For Robyn Dixon
Michelle appeared on “The Jason Lee Show” in April 2026 to promote “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and discuss her path to country music. While on, she lamented that some objected to her joining “RHOA” because of her previous appearance on “Love & Hip Hop.”
Jason Lee then asked if she was referring to Dixon, who had previously expressed disagreement over her casting. The 44-year-old responded, “Forget Robyn, she’s a couch potato. We don’t care about no Robyn Dixon.”
Michelle went on to bash Dixon’s marriage, saying, “She can’t even be content in the fact that her husband, or whatever he calls himself, don’t want her. You can’t keep a job. Less known, talk about me with every accolade that you’ll never see unless the rapture comes.”
The ‘RHOA’ Star Also Called Out Gizelle Bryant

Michelle didn’t end her commentary there; she said, “You can’t talk to me about where I’m supposed to be.” After that, she stated that she’s relatable, stating that “Real Housewives” shows are supposed to show real housewives.
She went on, “I’m a real housewife. I got a real man that really loves me. I got real life, my sh-t don’t be perfect. I’m really trying to get it together. I really want another child.” Later, she accused Dixon of selling t-shirts and hats from a couch before saying, “You and the other one.”
After being asked about “the other one,” she confirmed that she meant Gizelle Bryant. Michelle added, “For ya’ll to sit there and try to laugh. What is funny? What is funny is my accomplishments- trumps and laps all of ya’ll accomplishments.”
Fans Seem To Be On K. Michelle’s Side

Following Michelle’s comments going viral in the Bravoverse, “Housewives” fans reacted, with many defending her “RHOA” casting. One TikTok user said, “K Michelle actually is great for ‘RHOA.’ She has been putting in the work, and we have been seeing that for years.”
Someone else said, “Robyn needs to focus on her own life. Definitely proud of K Michelle and her growth. She’s a beautiful soul.”
A different TikTok user said, “K. Michelle is genuine and so relatable, love her.” Lastly, a different “RHOA” fan wrote, “So beautiful, raw, talented, blessed, and doing great no matter the circumstances.”
Here’s What Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant Said

Rumors that Michelle would be cast on RHOA season 17 began to swirl in 2025. Then, Dixon and Bryant took to their “Reasonably Shady” podcast in September to react to the reports.
Per The Bravo Shade Room, Dixon said, “I think that Atlanta has run out of people. So apparently, ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ has K. Michelle from ‘Love & Hip Hop’ on their show, and ‘Married to Medicine’ has Angel from ‘Basketball Wives.'”
After that, Bryant laughed and asked, “Are we rinsing and recycling?” Dixon noted that she thought Bravo avoided taking from other networks.
This then led Michelle to respond, saying, “I’m around here selling out shows, and you’re selling baseball hats, but you worried about me and what I might be doing. The nerve of this couch potato.”
She replied again, mentioning how Robyn had exited “RHOP” quite some time ago. She also mentioned Dixon’s husband’s past infidelity rumors.
‘RHOA’ Returned With High Ratings For Season 17

As mentioned, “RHOA” returned to Bravo in April 2026 for its 17th season. In addition to Michelle, the show features full-time cast members Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora, Phaedra Parks, Angela Oakley, Kelli Ferrell, Shamea Morton, and Pinky Cole. Additionally, Cynthia Bailey appears as a friend of the show.
According to Bravo Ratings, the premiere episode delivered 0.624 million viewers and a 0.12 share in the 18-49 demographic. While this number is a far cry from the glory days of “Housewives,” it’s fairly on par with Bravo’s most popular shows.
Of course, the lower live viewership is partly due to the rise of streaming, but it’s also worth noting that the episode aired on Easter Sunday.
For comparison, “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” which aired its second episode behind “RHOA”, delivered 0.423 million viewers. This is also impressive given that it’s a brand-new show.
Additionally, “RHOA” quickly shot to number one on Peacock before being overtaken by “RHORI” days later. Both shows are available to stream the following day on the platform.
