On March 4, "The Masked Singer" held Ozzfest Night to celebrate Ozzy, aka The Prince of Darkness, who passed away in July 2025 at 76 years old. The panel of judges, which consists of Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora, was joined by Osbourne.

Host Nick Cannon welcomed Osbourne and asked what it felt like to be back on the show again. Admittedly, Osbourne said that being back was emotional for her, especially on a night honoring his late father.

However, the TV personality was also grateful to be there as a judge after competing in 2019. "I know what it feels like to be in that costume and it's so nerve-wracking and it takes away all of your senses," Osbourne said, adding that she empathizes with the four remaining contestants, including High Voltage, Galaxy Girl, Eggplant, and Pangolin.

The Contestants Opened With 'Crazy Train'

Before the individual performances began, the four masked singers got together for a high-energy performance of Ozzy's 1980 song, "Crazy Train." A projection of Ozzy on screen kicked things off right before the song started. The judges were all standing by their seats and rocking to the tune.

Since it was Ozzfest Night, the masked singers had to be on theme and chose rock classics for their performances.

The official competition then began, with High Voltage singing their rendition of "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath. It was followed by Galaxy Girl's take on "Drive" by Incubus. Eggplant chose to sing Linkin Park's "One Step Closer," while Pangolin delivered an emotional performance of "Mama, I'm Coming Home."

At the end of her performance, Pangonlin had offered some words to Osbourne, saying, "Kelly, I know you've lost more than we can imagine. You are not alone." An emotional Osbourne put her hand over her heart as she fought back tears.

"All of us have been so fortunate to honor your dad tonight. And we hope, even if for just a moment, we've made you feel at home," Pangolin continued.

After the votes, Pangolin and Galaxy Girl were safe, while High Voltage and Eggplant had to battle it out in the Ozzfest Royale. The two singers performed Black Sabbath's "Iron Man," and in the end, Eggplant was eliminated.

The person behind Eggplant was actor and musician Jack Wagner, most known for appearing in "Melrose Place" and "General Hospital."

Osbourne competed as the Ladybug in season 2 of "The Masked Singer," singing songs including Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero," Lizzo's "Juice," and Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot."

She was eliminated in the sixth week after performing "Youngblood" by 5 Seconds of Summer, but none of the judges were able to guess her identity.

In 2019, Osbourne talked about her time on the show, saying that Ozzy wasn't aware that she had joined. "When we watched last night, he was so shocked and excited about it. We knew that if he knew, it would be like the town cry," Osbourne shared.

Osbourne's appearance on "The Masked Singer" followed a two-year hiatus, and she realized just how much she still wanted to be on TV.

Osbourne's appearance on "The Masked Singer" comes days after she blasted critics who shamed her for her appearance.

As The Blast previously reported, Osbourne attended the BRITs to accept her father's Lifetime Achievement award, and online trolls left scathing comments about her weight.

Osbourne addressed her critics, saying, "There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most."

In December 2025, Osbourne also called out her critics and said, "My dad just died, and I'm doing the best that I can."
