Meghan McCain is thoroughly displeased with how the hosts of “The View” handled the recent interview with JD Vance, and she is not afraid to say it.

The political analyst took to X to voice her strong disapproval over how the broadcasting team managed a sit-down discussion with the vice president.

She bashed “The View” co-hosts, calling her former colleagues “sh-tty,” while also commending Vance for how he handled himself during the chaotic broadcast.

The political commentator, who officially departed the ABC morning program in 2021, used her social media platform to heavily criticize her former coworkers immediately after the vice president joined the broadcasting table for a high-intensity conversation.

“My biggest takeaway from Vance on The View is honestly how sh-tty and undisciplined the hosts STILL ARE,” she wrote on X.

McCain openly declared that the television hosts continue to act in an incredibly unprofessional and unpolished manner.

She specifically pointed out that despite their extensive broadcasting experience, the current panel regularly misstates fundamental truths, struggles to articulate inquiries, and appears incapable of getting along.

“After all these years, they still get basic facts wrong, flub easy questions, and can’t get through a segment without yelling at each other,” she added.

This critique directly referenced a moment when the main moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, grew visibly annoyed and cut off panelist Ana Navarro as she tried to pose a follow-up question before an impending ad break, per Entertainment Weekly.

McCain noted that the politician navigated the chaotic interview remarkably well, maintaining a calm smile throughout the internal bickering.

The drama highlighted by McCain seemed evident during the actual live taping of the vice presidential broadcast when Goldberg and Anna Navarro shared a heated moment. 

Navarro questioned Vance on an issue relating to Black History, but Goldberg tried to cut the conversation short, saying, “I’ve got to, I have to go to break.”

As Navarro pressed on, Goldberg grew visibly exasperated, lifting her hands to her face before issuing a stern warning for her colleague to cease the disruptive behavior. 

“Ana, God, please!” She added, subsequently warning her not to repeat her actions again. 

Notably, throughout the turbulent broadcast, the panel aggressively questioned the politician on topics ranging from immigration enforcement to historical records. However, the deep internal arguments among the hosts ultimately overshadowed the debate.

This cold reception makes a rare moment for the daytime series, which was hosting a sitting vice president for only the third time in its long broadcasting history, per Entertainment Weekly.

In February, The Blast reported that McCain took to social media to mock the morning talk show industry. She claimed that current hosts are so desperate for public approval that their programs have become dull. 

She also argued that this lack of authenticity has directly triggered a recent wave of show cancellations across major networks.

He sarcastically offered to rent a moving truck to help the reality alumnus fulfill an earlier promise to exit the city if his political opponents emerged victorious.

McCain reacted with extreme hostility toward the segment on her personal account, stating that he was a “mean, heartless b-stard,” per The Blast.
