Per the police department’s spokesperson, “allegations have been made in both directions” and “contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th.”

An inside source connected to “Mormon Wives” confirmed the filming pause. “They are not filming,” the source said. “Taylor [Frankie Paul] has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off.”

“I, for the first time, sat down and watched this season, and it was extremely hard to do,” Paul wrote. “These aren’t just story lines, these are our actual lives we are sharing. I’ll speak for myself on this, I’m not sharing to appease or switch ‘story lines’ for anyone’s entertainment.”

“A big reason I continue on is to potentially help someone,” she continued. “I know this because I’ve personally watched and listened to people’s experience and it helped me. In January 2025, during a Q&A session on Instagram, Taylor Frankie Paul opened up about her struggles coping with heartbreak, which at the time was after a breakup with Dakota Mortensen.

One fan asked how Paul copes with heartbreak, and she offered a candid response.

“I’m not good with this myself,” she replied. “How do you cope with heartbreak? I’m a few days out of a 3.5-year relationship. Take it day by day. Feel the pain, grieve. Can feel like a death. After learning from my past, I just cry and let the pain in so it can pass through, or any other emotions…sadness, anger, etc.”

In another reply to a fan question, Paul revealed that at the time she was going to therapy three times a week but is now “down to one or two times.”

Paul Has Been Very Open About Her Ongoing Mental Health Struggles
