“Real Housewives of Atlanta“ alums Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have been at war since 2023, when they filed for divorce. Now, years later, they’re still legally married, and the former NFL player has requested full custody of their children after an alleged incident with a dog. This has also led the former “RHOA” star to respond to her estranged husband.

This comes as Zolciak is set to testify under oath in Kyle Mowitz’s divorce case, as they are currently dating, and she will be questioned about any financial dealings with him during the marriage and divorce.

Kim Zolciak Says Kroy Biermann’s Claims Are Unfounded

Zolciak issued a statement to US Weekly following Biermann’s request for full custody after claiming one of their children had been bitten by a dog. She said to the outlet, “These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character.”

The “RHOA” alum then addressed Biermann’s claims that she had traveled abroad for multiple weeks. According to Zolciak, “I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are cared for — something I will never apologize for.”

The mom of six added, “I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am. I will not stay silent; the truth is on my side, and it will come to light—no matter how hard anyone tries to bury it.”

TMZ reported on March 31 that court documents showed Biermann requesting sole custody of their four minor children. They currently have an agreement for joint custody of the kids.

He said in the legal filing, “the facts surrounding [Kim’s] misguided parenting of the children, lack thereof, and blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities would be practically unbelievable to anyone not familiar with the circumstances.”

The former NFL player is also accusing the Bravo alum of “fraud and deceit” regarding their temporary joint custody agreement. He also claimed that she had been out of the country between February 26 and March 29. However, he admitted that she had been around on the night of March 9.

Regarding the previously mentioned dog incident, Biermann stated that one of the children had been bitten on the night they were with her. Kroy also claims in the court documents that Zolciak had failed to adhere to their therapy agreement.

In many ways, both Biermann and Zolciak have moved on from one another and into more positive directions. For her, she’s appeared on multiple reality shows in recent years and has been rumored for a new one. Regarding Biermann, he’s made a new career in sales and seems to be in better spirits.

However, fans were shocked by Biermann’s claims and have passionately voiced their opinions. One person said on X, “A father publicly accusing the mother of not seeing the kids for weeks is a serious allegation that goes beyond reality TV drama.”

The comment continued, “Whatever the relationship issues between Kim and Kroy, the children are the only ones who matter here, and they shouldn’t be used as leverage in a public dispute.”

Another X user wrote, “She’s filming, and he is pinning her for 2 days in the article. Sheesh, she’s a pos, don’t get me wrong. But he is reaching while he bums around.”

The ‘RHOA’ Alum Gave An Update On Her Divorce In November 2025

Zolciak and Biermann have filed for divorce three times, with the first being in April 2023 and the latest being by him in February 2026, according to WSB-TV. Zolciak spoke to US Weekly in November 2025 while attending BravoCon in Las Vegas.

She told the outlet, “[I] don’t know if it’ll ever be over. I wish it would be over tomorrow. It’s just difficult. I’ve never not been able to coparent with my ex and things like that. So, this is just [what] I want. I want to be able to coparent and do what’s best for our children.”

Zolciak continued, “If he needs help with having the kids somewhere, we can [help each other], but none of that happens. So, it’s just the divide [that] is what’s so disturbing to me, like, we’ve had a good life. We were together for a long time. We have four beautiful kids. Can we just figure it out?”

When asked if she believes they can get to a more amicable place, she admitted, “I don’t think so. I don’t know why. I’ve tried many different avenues and different ways and different approaches and exhausted all my resources.”

Zolciak Is Rumored For A New Show

According to Reality Tea, Zolciak is one of several well-known reality stars set to appear in a new Prime Video series. In addition to the “Don’t Be Tardy” alum, fellow Bravo stars Kenya Moore and Margaret Josephs are rumored to appear, just to name a few.

Regarding Biermann’s custody request and her response, it seems likely she had filming commitments during her time away.
