“The Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein has caught a big break in her ongoing eavesdropping case. According to a previous report from The Blast, the Bravo TV personality and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, were each charged with one count of interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications. In addition to that, they were accused of “unlawfully and intentionally” eavesdropping on Lisa’s ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein’s, phone calls.
‘All Charges’ Against Lisa Hochstein And Her Boyfriend, Jody, Will Be Dropped In Ongoing Legal Case

According to Page Six, Lisa and Glidden have “reached an agreement with prosecutors” in their ongoing legal case.
Attorneys for the couple, Jayne Weintraub and Howard Srebnick, also spoke out about the update to Lisa and Glidden’s case, saying “all charges will be dismissed in mid-June without any admission of guilt or conviction.”
NBC 6 South Florida also reported that Hochstein and Glidden accepted a pretrial diversion program, an alternative offered to “offenders with non-violent priors” by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
The diversion program is said to give individuals the chance to “make significant changes in their lives so they can avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system.”
The successful completion of the program will result in all charges being dropped.
Lisa Hochstein Accused Of Planting Listening Devices In Ex-Husband’s Car

A previous report from The Blast states that Lisa was accused of secretly planting “at least one” listening device in Lenny’s car to “monitor” calls about their divorce proceedings.
Lenny told the court that he had “no knowledge” of the information Lisa allegedly obtained, saying her alleged actions “compromised the integrity” of their split.
“Your Affiant has reason to believe and does believe that Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden, working together, installed the hidden recorded device without the victim’s knowledge or consent and secretly recorded conversations between the victim and numerous persons and parties, including patients of the victim,” Lisa’s arrest warrant read.
Lisa’s legal team denied the claims in a statement, saying there was “no truth” to them, and noted that the court “has already sided with Lisa on many of these issues.”
Lisa Hochstein Accused Of Having ‘Intimate’ Relations In Ex-Husband’s Car

Shortly after Lisa and Glidden’s arrests, they were accused of having sexual intercourse after planting spyware in Lenny’s car, per The Blast.
In legal documents, Lenny said that he recovered the listening device from his car’s floorboard and, with his lawyer, retrieved audio recordings from it.
The report says, “… one of the last recordings from before the vehicle was returned to the victim depicts Lisa Hochstein and Glidden holding a discussion and the distinct sound of a device such as the hidden recorder being wrestled into place.”
Elsewhere in the documents, authorities said one of the audio recordings depicted Lisa and Gidden “engaged in intimate activities.”
Lisa’s Legal Woes Won’t Be Played Out On The ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise

While Lisa’s legal woes are prime for the “Real Housewives” franchise, viewers shouldn’t expect to see the storyline play out on the Miami iteration any time soon.
Earlier this year, Bravo announced that the show had been put on pause again, after its first hiatus, which lasted from 2013 to 2021.
Alexia Nepola shared her opinion on the show’s cancellation, saying it happened due to low viewership among fans.
“All these Bravo fans need to watch our show,” Nepola said. “Because it’s always like, ‘Oh my God, we love your show.’ Our show’s so popular, but where are these Bravo fans? We need them! We need them to watch our show because apparently our ratings were not that high and that’s why we’re on a pause — for now. But our life continues.”
Nepola’s bestie, Marysol Patton, shared a similar statement, saying, “To me, it doesn’t make any sense because everywhere I go when I travel, people know who we are.”
She added, “They know me, buy me a cockie, send me a cockie, the bartender’s like, ‘Can I get you a cockie?’”
Nepola Shared An Emotional Tribute After Learning The Show’s Fate

Prior to that, Nepola reacted to news about the show’s status on Instagram, expressing her pride in showcasing her culture on a national program.
“Hearing that the show is currently on pause is disheartening, and it’s hard not to feel the weight of that. Opportunities like this are rare, and they matter,” she said.
“At the same time, I truly believe that a pause can create space for something even greater. I’ve always felt this show plays an important role in celebrating Latin voices, and that’s something I will always carry with me. I’m staying positive, present, and hopeful for what’s ahead.”
