On an episode of “New Heights,” Travis and Jason had a good laugh about the moment, with the latter asking his brother, “Do we have beef with Meryl Streep?”

Travis, who is gearing up for another season in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, said, “I hope she doesn’t have beef with me. I’m a fan of Meryl Streep, I don’t have any beef with her.”

Finishing the conversation, Travis praised Streep for her creative brilliance, saying, “Meryl has quite the resume.”

Streep will reprise her role as Miranda Priestly, the sharp editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway magazine in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” also starring Anne Hathaway.

Speaking with TODAY, Streep said she almost turned down the role of Priestley when she received the offer for the first film 20 years ago.

“I read the script. Script was great. And they called me up and they made an offer, and I said, ‘No, not going to do it,'” she said. However, it wasn’t because she couldn’t see herself in the film—it was over money.

“I knew it was going to be a hit, and I wanted to see if I doubled my ask,” Streep said. “And they went right away and said sure. And I thought, I’m 50, 60 — it took me this long to understand that I could do that.”

Streep explained that she believed the film needed her, adding that originating the role or Priestly taught her a valuable life lesson.

Travis will get married to Swift sometime in July—just weeks before he laces up his cleats for his 14th season in the NFL.

Although he considered calling it quits after his disappointing 2025 season with the Chiefs, Travis opted to make a comeback, crediting Swift as the deciding factor.

“Without a doubt, we share the same love for what we do, and we’ve had this, you know, fortunately, we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” Travis said.

Travis explained that Swift’s dominance in the music industry helps fuel him.

“That’s motivating for anybody to see, let alone, you know, my fiancée, and then, and knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me. Something like that definitely motivates me to say, You know what? I’m not done either. You know? I still got some ideas in the back of my mind. and still got some juice left to play this game,” he added.
