When host Jimmy Kimmel noted that fans had “gone berserk” over the secret wedding claims and started spreading AI-generated images of the alleged union, Zendaya noted their actions had caused problems within her circle.

“I was out, and about in real life, and people are like, ‘Oh my god, your wedding photos are really gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI.’ They’re not real,” Zendaya said. When Kimmel asked if people in her life were “mad that they weren’t invited” to the speculated wedding, she confirmed “many people” had been upset.

Instead of confirming or denying the secret wedding speculations, Zendaya chose to poke fun at the viral rumors by promoting her new movie. She claimed she wanted to “clear the confusion,” but only left fans guessing with wedding footage from the film, “The Drama.”

The clip saw Zendaya in character playing a bride with her co-star Robert Pattinson as the groom. However, the latter’s head had been replaced with Holland’s, a change that left the audience cackling with laughter.

When Kimmel pointed out that Holland’s head had been photoshopped on Pattinson’s, Zendaya denied the allegations. “No … that was real footage,” she joked, doubling down on its authenticity when Kimmel asked if the video was AI.

Unlike his previous stance, Roach avoided the question by raving about the weather. He hilariously gave a full weather report, going on about the sunshine and what a beautiful day it was, instead of spilling the tea about Zendaya and Holland.

Zendaya’s Mom Implied The Wedding Claims Were False

Roach’s decision to avoid the question came weeks after Zendaya’s mom, Claire Stoermer, had implied he lied about the secret wedding. The Blast reported that she reposted a clip of Roach’s private ceremony claims on March 2 alongside the caption, “That laugh…”

Stoermer’s words seemingly hinted that Roach’s laughter meant the claims weren’t real. In the video, the celebrity stylist was speaking to a reporter at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1, when he dropped his bombshell claims.

When asked about Zendaya and Holland’s relationship, Roach said in a teasing voice, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” He laughed and doubled down on his claims, declaring the lovebirds had secretly tied the knot.
