He told the audience that he never would have made it to that historic stage without the friendship and support of Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and his late friend Liam Payne.

“I wouldn’t be on this stage if it wasn’t for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey,” he said, per BBC. 

Officials confirmed that Styles has been awarded a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous run of concerts by a single musician at Wembley Stadium. By successfully completing 12 consecutive sold-out shows, the music star officially broke the venue’s historic residency record.

Immediately after doing the trick, the singer accidentally inhaled the remaining water and went into a severe coughing fit. He quickly lost his balance and fell flat onto his back on the stage floor, where he lay spluttering and clutching his stomach for about seventeen seconds.

Videos of the incident quickly went viral on TikTok and X, showing the singer struggling to loosen his clothing as he caught his breath on the floor. 

Many fans online expressed deep concern over the footage, with some questioning why none of his stage crew rushed out to assist him during the struggle. Thankfully, Styles managed to sit up, wipe his eyes, and confidently get back on his feet to wave to the cheering crowd. 

According to The Blast, sources noted that he was completely fine. The singer later assured the concerned audience that the water had simply gone down the wrong hole, and he completely recovered in time to perform his next scheduled concert the very next evening.
