Rosie DiMare almost came to blows with Kelsey Swanson on last night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.” And while tensions were already soaring between the pair during the last 15 minutes of the show, DiMare recently revealed there was more going on between them behind the scenes. On the “RHORI” after show, DiMare and Swanson shared their sides.

Rosie DiMare Gets Real About Her Fight With Kelsey Swanson On Rhode Island Housewives

During episode 7 of Bravo’s newest “Real Housewives” iteration, DiMare kicked Swanson out of her house after arriving with a police siren and blasting their beef to the neighborhood on a bullhorn.

According to DiMare, she knew she would see Swanson later that day, but she didn’t expect her to take things to the next level. “I couldn’t even wrap my head around this was happening,” DiMare said. “And she’s like, ‘What? It was funny.'”

For those who may be unfamiliar, DiMare has been feuding with Swanson throughout the season after the latter questioned the square footage of DiMare’s Rhode Island abode. DiMare said on the after-show that Swanson’s incessant picking is what caused her to snap.

“People are gonna think, like, she just rolled up to my house one day and was, like, mean to me one time, and I’m freaking the f–k out,” DiMare said. “I mean, this is just the tip of the iceberg.”

During the episode, DiMare screamed at Swanson, claiming she had been terrible to her throughout the summer. Continuing, DiMare alleged that Swanson was attacking her with baseless rumors regarding her career and an affair with a basketball coach.

A week earlier, they decided to put their issues behind them and move forward for the group’s sake, so when Swanson continued to poke fun at DiMare over her house, it left DiMare dumbfounded.

“I was like, ‘Fine, let’s just, like, be cool. Let’s just move forward,'” DiMare said. “And that’s why I was so pissed off when she pulled that s–t at my house.”

On the “RHORI” after-show, Swanson shared her side of the story, telling her friend, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, that her move was to be funny.

“Take a joke,” she said. “It’s not that serious.”

Swanson went on to say that she and DiMare both had plans to be a bit cheeky during their meet-up, given that DiMare had brought out her home’s floor plans and a measuring tape to prove the actual square footage of her home to Swanson.

“So even before I had the megaphone and the police siren, she still had the plan for me to go measure her foundation,” Swanson said. “Like, she’s joking around. Why can’t I?”

Swanson Had Plans To ‘Bust [DiMare’s] Balls’ During The Episode

Before the explosive blowup, cameras showed Swanson speaking on the phone with her boyfriend, Bill L’Europa, telling him she was meeting up with DiMare to hang out.

She explained that the pair were in a “better place,” adding that they were “friendly” with each other following their cast trip.

During the conversation, she revealed she planned to give DiMare a hard time, saying, “I’m gonna bust her balls a little and make light of the situation.”

“You know how I was, like, calling her out for lying about her square footage of her house? We can joke about it now. We’re past it,” Swanson said.

DiMare Implied That Swanson’s Move Was A Deliberate Attack

Although Swanson believed she was showing up with a pure heart, DiMare told “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” producers she felt differently.

“This ‘funny joke’ proves that you’re not trying to move forward with me,” DiMare confessed.

According to her, she saw Swanson’s move as a deliberate attempt to rub salt in an open wound.

“You just wanna make fun of me, and now you’re coming to my house, and you’re gonna do it again?” she said, adding, “Seriously, it’s f-cked up.”

“You’re still calling me a liar and an exaggerator. And you just want to attack me constantly. And I’m not here for it anymore,” she finished.
