Sharon’s sweet anniversary message came around the same time her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, found her own unique way to honor her father’s memory. The 41-year-old television star decided to get a permanent new tattoo inside a special moving studio set up inside a capsule on the famous London Eye Ferris wheel.

According to The Blast, the session was put together by Miles Langford, the founder of a popular tattoo brand called The London Social.

In a video shared online, Kelly watched closely as the artist placed a design of Ozzy’s famous round eyeglasses onto her leg. The small tattoo looked exactly like the signature glasses the rock star wore during his many years on stage.

The Osbourne family’s efforts to keep the singer’s memory alive have continued through major public events. However, one important gathering had to happen without his longtime wife, Sharon. The major event was the unveiling of a giant new statue of the rock star at a heavy metal music festival called Hellfest in France.

Sharon shared a video of the twenty-foot monument on her Instagram account and apologized to the organizers and fans for not being there in person.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t be at Hellfest for the unveiling of Ozzy’s statue,” she wrote, per The Blast. “Unfortunately, I had an unexpected trip to the hospital earlier in the week,” she added.

While she did not give any specific details about why she had to go to the hospital, she made sure to thank the artist and the festival team for creating such a beautiful piece of art to remember her husband.

Prior to the statue event, Sharon also spoke out against critics who accused her of using her husband’s passing to make money. This came after the news of an upcoming AI avatar based on Ozzy broke online.

Many people called the upcoming digital version of Ozzy a simple way to get rich, but Sharon quickly shut down those rumors on her family podcast. She explained that she does not need anyone’s money and that the world simply has to move forward as technology changes.

“I don’t need your f-cking money. I’m doing very well,” she said, per The Blast

Sharon insisted that her late husband would have fully supported the project because he always worried about his place in history. Therefore, creating this digital version is a loving way to keep his memory alive for future generations.

The upcoming AI project is not the only way the family plans to keep the heavy metal singer’s memory alive for future generations. A major new biographical movie about Ozzy’s life is also in the works.

Ozzy’s son, Jack Osbourne, recently shared some very exciting updates about how well the project is moving along.

According to Jack, the movie is targeting a release date sometime in 2028 because a project of this size takes a lot of time to put together. He also shared that the movie will show Ozzy’s time with his band Black Sabbath, his famous love story with Sharon, and the tragic loss of his guitar player, Randy Rhoads, in the early 1980s.
