The awkward moment occurred on Saturday, July 25, when the Raymond & Brown Tour made a stop in Nashville at the Nissan Stadium. A shirtless Usher welcomed a female fan to the stage where a bed prop had been set up and tried to serenade her.

The moment turned incredibly uncomfortable to watch, as seen in a fan video shared on Instagram, as the woman kept avoiding the singer’s sultry moves. Although she kept smiling through the encounter, her stiff movements hinted at her disinterest in Usher’s seductive performances.

She went as far as leaning away from him as he drew closer, which was the last straw for the R&B King. “I don’t think she wants to be on the stage,” Usher told the crowd with a puzzled expression. Then he walked away from the fan and, with his back to her, waved her off the stage.

The post, reshared on Instagram, captured Cheyenne’s response to critics. She argued that no one would ever decline going on stage, claiming she looked “good asf” for the concert and wanted people to see her. As for why she got the opportunity, Cheyenne claimed:

“My mom and I had FLOOR SEATS. Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started !! PRETTY PRIVILEGES something you h-es will never know about !!”

The Awkward Incident Comes Years After Keke Palmer’s Performance Drama

Cheyenne added in her post that she wasn’t told whom she was going to meet on stage, seemingly confirming the theories that she would have been willing to be on stage with Brown. However, she implied she wasn’t open to explicit performances, noting critics expected her to “f-ck” Usher.

The fan’s stance against having a flirtatious moment with the R&B singer comes years after one of his seductive performances sparked debate for crossing the line. The incident occurred in 2023 between Usher and actress/singer Keke Palmer.
