“Gamerhood” returns with a fresh season packed with bigger challenges, louder personalities, and nonstop chaos.

The State Farm original reality show brings together some of the internet’s most recognizable creators from the past decade to compete in everything from intense video game matchups to larger-than-life physical arena challenges. The season premiered in late July 2026 and continues every Friday in August at 6 p.m. ET.

The cast features some of the streaming community’s biggest names, including iShowSpeed, Cinna, Marlon, and Emiru. Joining them are PlaqueBoyMax and JasonTheWeen, who spoke exclusively with The Blast about competing on the series and what viewers can expect as the season unfolds.

‘Gamerhood’ Returns With Fresh Talent And Even Bigger Challenges!

While “Gamerhood” doesn’t feature traditional reality TV stars, it promises to deliver the same high-energy drama… and then some.

For this season of “Gamerhood,” State Farm raised the stakes by bringing together some of the biggest names in streaming, including reigning Streamer of the Year iShowSpeed.

“I appreciate State Farm for bringing me out to the Gamerhood. I know the fans will love seeing me game again. The physical challenges were also insane, and I think the people watching at home will feel that too,” he said.

JasonTheWeen And PlaqueBoyMax Open Up About Leaving Their Everyday Routines To Compete On ‘Gamerhood’

Joining iShowSpeed are JasonTheWeen and PlaqueBoyMax, two of the internet’s fastest-rising streaming stars whose influence extends well beyond gaming. Together, they’ve built devoted online communities, shaped digital culture, and have become two of the most recognizable creators of their generation.

Although “Gamerhood” is fast-paced and filled with demanding challenges, JasonTheWeen told The Blast exclusively that stepping outside his usual routine and into that environment was “refreshing.” What made the experience even more rewarding, he said, was the opportunity to bet on himself, relying on his instincts and “brains” to carry him through the competition.

PlaqueBoyMax echoed that sentiment, describing the experience as “fire.” He added, “Gamerhood was different. You’re out there in a whole arena, with cameras everywhere, competing against people you actually know, and everybody’s trying to win.”

What Can PlaqueBoyMax And JasonTheWeen’s Fans Expect To See During Season 5?

The ongoing season, which premieres new episodes every Friday at 6 p.m. ET on the State Farm YouTube channel, offers more than just video games and over-the-top challenges. It also delivers plenty of plotting, scheming, and strategic gameplay.

“This season isn’t one of those things where you can predict what’s about to happen. Everyone’s got their own interests and it’s everyone for themselves, so you can’t really trust anybody. People are teaming up when it makes sense, switching up when they have to, and the whole time everybody’s got their eye on the prize, trying to get those gifted subs. And then the IRL challenges make it even crazier because you gotta actually move, think, react, and not look goofy. So yeah, people are going to laugh, people are going to argue, and the clips are for sure going to go viral for sure,” said PlaqueBoyMax.

JasonTheWeen, meanwhile, described the season 5 cast as fiercely competitive, noting that everyone came in with the same goal: to win. That competitive spirit, he said, sometimes turned into a bit of “trash talking” that’s sure to play out in the episodes to come.

Season 5 of “Gamerhood” is produced by State Farm, and for PlaqueBoyMax, the collaboration was the perfect fit. “It made sense because Gamerhood is basically everything I like about streaming put into a show format. It’s creators, games, funny moments, competitiveness, people talking crazy, audience reacting… all that. And I got to do it with people I actually know, so it didn’t feel random,” he told The Blast.

JasonTheWeen shared a similar perspective, adding that taking the opportunity to compete alongside his friends was a no-brainer. “Coming together, competing, playing video games, and doing fun physical challenges … it’s fun. If I’m having fun, then the content is going to be good.”
