The reality star will reportedly be back on the screen for the fifth season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” after production was temporarily halted due to the domestic violence controversy that rocked her world.

While the reality star will be a part of the filming for the fifth season of “SLOMW” for the next two days, she will reportedly be a part of filming the intro credits, but that is where it ends, as she will not be filming anything else for the season, including a final confessional.

Taylor’s return and the commencement of filming for the season marks a significant turnaround for the show, which was paused in the middle of March after a heated exchange between the reality star and her ex made rounds.

As stated by TMZ, Taylor will be joining her “SLOMW” co-stars, including Jessi Draper, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, and Layla Taylor, to film the season. The group was spotted filming on Wednesday and dancing to a tune on set, sending a message of their readiness to carry on.

The spillover from the confrontation with Dakota Mortensen also led to custody battles involving her ex-husband Tate Paul over their three kids.

Taylor’s return to the show’s fifth season did not happen without a bit of feather ruffling and mixed feelings from one or more members of the cast. Reacting to videos of the aforementioned cast members dancing together with the caption “we are surviving” on the post, which went live on Leavitt’s page.

Taylor was missing from the squad, and she expressed her displeasure in an Instagram reel stating that her co-stars were beating her while she was down. According to PEOPLE, the reality star’s clip also featured a text that read, “A team trying to humble and calling it a joke…” as Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now” played on. 

The text then says, “My turn. Let’s humble,” as Taylor bragged with various text messages implying that she has been offered similar opportunities as her castmates. The opportunities included inviting Taylor to feature in shows like “Dancing with the Stars,” “Miami Swim Week,” and publishing a memoir.

The reality star then shared another post to her Instagram Stories, appearing tearful behind the wheel of a vehicle. She confessed that she had a very difficult day and another group of people had come together to make it worse.

Taylor was thankful to have now known people who were rooting for her unhappiness, as she added that she desires to be nothing like them, who bully people while she defends herself. The reality star urged everyone to watch how the situation unfolds while she continues to deal with those who do not love her.

Taylor’s post soon reached the alleged target audience as Draper came online to share her perspective, urging her fans to calm down. Jessi explained that the group was having fun and not trying to cause any drama because she has been public in her support for Taylor and has remained so.

“It was not meant to be a dig. It was just that, ‘Hey, we’re all together filming right now and we’re going to make a fun video, like the old days,” Draper concluded.

During the press preview for her season of “The Bachelorette” back in March, Taylor confessed that she was tired of having controversies rock some of the biggest moments in her career. She revealed that she has never enjoyed them fully, and it took her everything to power up and arrive at the press preview.

Taylor got vulnerable about struggling to find her way around the controversy of attacking Dakota, although she earlier denied that she was ever violent with her former boyfriend. She continued that if she failed to show up for the activities connected to her career, it may appear as if her hard work had been wasted.

In another interview, she also analyzed her current situation with her “SLOMW” co-stars, noting that things are going great between them despite rumors that they have distanced themselves from her drama. She added that she has shown up for some of them during their hard days, and if they decide not to pay her in the same coin, that was well within their rights.
