Milania Giudice addressed her arrest for the first time in a TikTok video posted Monday, shutting down rumors surrounding a photo that has circulated widely online.

The daughter of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice insisted the image many fans believed was her mugshot wasn’t authentic.

“I have one thing to say, I’m going to save the rest for tomorrow. But that ‘mugshot’ of me, if you guys really believe. That’s AI,” she said.

While dismissing the viral image, Milania jokingly claimed her actual booking photo looked much better. “I ate down in my mugshot,” she quipped, adding, “I looked fire. I mean, nothing to be proud of.”

The University of Tampa student ended that portion of her message by admitting she couldn’t believe so many people accepted the altered image as genuine, telling followers she would share more details later.

Beyond the online speculation, Teresa Guidice’s daughter also opened up about the circumstances surrounding her arrest, acknowledging she wasn’t in the best place emotionally when it happened.

“It is what it is, you gotta learn from it,” she revealed, explaining that her focus now was on becoming a better person rather than dwelling on the past.

She encouraged others to grow from difficult experiences, saying people should “Just become a better person and talk about it.”

Milania admitted she “was not in a good area in my life” when she was arrested in May, adding that several personal struggles contributed to that period.

“That happens, I’ve been through a lot in life and some other stuff happened to me,” she explained before reminding followers that social media doesn’t tell the full story.

“Just because you guys think you know everything that happens in my life, you just really don’t,” she finished.

As The Blast reported, Milania was arrested by the Montville Township Police Department on May 14, 2026. 

Officers responded to the incident at approximately 6:12 p.m., after which she was taken into custody.

Authorities charged the University of Tampa student with one count of simple assault, alleging that she purposely or knowingly caused bodily injury during the incident. 

In New Jersey, the offense is classified as a disorderly persons offense. Milania was issued a summons and released, with a court appearance scheduled for May 19. 

During that hearing, no plea was entered, and the case remains pending. Police have not publicly identified the alleged victim, released additional details about what led to the altercation, or disclosed the relationship between Milania and the other individual involved.

As The Blast shared, she first reposted a photo of a roadside sign that read, “None of us sit high enough to look down on anybody. Be humble,” a message many fans interpreted as addressing the public scrutiny surrounding her legal troubles. 

Milania followed it with heartfelt posts about her mother, including one that read, “Me & my mama so close sometimes I be forgetting I’m talking to my mama,” and another that said, “I hope my mom never carries the weight of thinking she wasn’t enough. According to The Blast, the star recently made headlines after Margaret Josephs stood firm on why she walked away from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” making it clear that her long-running feud with Teresa remained the deciding factor. 

Speaking on the “Shut Up Tell Me More” podcast, the former Bravo star said she had consistently maintained that she could not return if Teresa remained part of the cast.

“I have said, if you go back to every outlet, podcast, interview I have done since we wrapped filming years ago: I have said if a certain someone is coming back and it’s going down that pipe, it is not good for me. I cannot work with them,” Josephs explained.
